ResMed AirFit F30i Cushion, New
The cushion for the ResMed AirFit F30i full face mask, ResMed United Kingdom catalogue reference 63350. It is the part that seals against the face and the part that wears out, supplied here new and on its own so that a working mask is kept in service rather than bought again.
The F30i cushion is an under the nose design rather than a conventional full face cushion. It seals around the mouth and beneath the nostrils instead of covering the bridge of the nose, which removes the commonest site of pressure marking and leaves the field of view clear. That is what the mask is chosen for, and it is also why the cushion matters more than on other masks: the seal is made on a smaller, more mobile area of the face, so a cushion that has softened or distorted leaks long before it looks worn out.
ResMed make this cushion in four sizes, identified on the part and the packaging by symbol: small, medium, small wide and wide. Those are two separate dimensions rather than one scale. Small and medium describe the height of the cushion, while the wide versions carry the same height with a broader opening for a wider mouth and nose. A wearer who leaks at the corners of the mouth usually needs a wide rather than a larger size, which is the fitting error that sends most cushions back.
It clips to the frame on a tab that snaps into a slot in the cushion, and comes away by gripping the frame connector and lifting one side at a time, so no tools and no re-threading of headgear are involved. The material is silicone and plastic, and it is not made with latex. ResMed call for daily cleaning: a soak in warm water with a mild liquid detergent, a hand wash with a soft bristle brush paying attention to the vent holes, a rinse under running water and air drying out of direct sunlight. Supplied new.

Points to note before ordering
- There is no large cushion for this mask. ResMed make the F30i cushion in small, medium, small wide and wide. The frame is what comes in small, standard and large, and the two are often confused. A wearer leaking at the corners of the mouth needs a wide cushion rather than a bigger one, and ResMed publish a sizing template for settling it. Elarix Medical confirms the size and the size specific reference in writing before dispatch.
- The cushion is specific to the F30i. It does not fit the AirFit F20, the F30 or any other mask in the range, and cushions from those masks do not fit an F30i frame. The frame, the headgear and the cushion are matched parts.
- Cushion only. No frame, headgear, elbow or tubing is part of this sale. Those are separate items and are quoted on request.
- Daily cleaning, and no shortcuts. ResMed call for a soak in warm water with a mild liquid detergent, a hand wash with a soft bristle brush with attention to the vent holes, a rinse and air drying away from direct sunlight. The cushion does not go in a dishwasher or a washing machine, and a blocked vent hole changes how the mask performs.

Magnets sit in the mask, not in this part. The cushion carries no magnets, but the F30i frame and lower headgear straps do. ResMed call for those to be kept at least 50 mm from active implants such as pacemakers and defibrillators, and the mask is contraindicated where there is a metallic haemostatic clip in the head or a metallic splinter in either eye. Worth re-checking where a wearer's circumstances have changed since the mask was first fitted.

Shipping
Ordered before 1pm Monday to Friday, dispatched the same working day from Leeds. Deliveries run Monday to Saturday, never Sunday.
UK mainland, light items: 1 to 2 working days. Heavy and bulky: 2 to 4 working days.
Customs and duties
International orders ship on a Delivered At Place basis. Import duty, local tax and customs clearance fees are charged by the destination country and are the buyer's responsibility.

Returns and refunds
- UK orders: 14-day change of mind. Tell us within 14 days of delivery at info@cpapsupply.co.uk or on +44 780 264 4820 and we send you a returns reference. Return postage is paid by you.
- Unopened and sealed items are refunded in full, including the standard delivery you paid.
- Hygiene items (masks, cushions, nasal pillows, headgear, tubing, filters, chinstraps, water chambers, wipes and anything that touches the airway) cannot be returned once the seal is broken, even if unused.
- Opened machines and devices: up to 40% is deducted if only opened to inspect, and up to the full price if used, as a used medical device can no longer be sold as new.
- Faulty or not as described? Tell us within 30 days for a full refund, and we pay the return postage. After that, it is repaired or replaced under the warranty.
